In this small thriller made by a few students the plot is about a student that has been missing for a few days and a detective is trying to find out whats happened to him. We see the scene is filmed in a school that the victim went to.
Mise en scene
The scene is set in a secondary school, there is normal school surroundings but it also seems suspicious and cold because there are no students about and the colours used in the school makes it look very cold and quiet and suspicious.
Editing&Sound
The editing is basic but they have a lot of editing like cutting in the conversations at the right angle and editing it right. They also edited an intro in at the beginning of the movie. The music carry's on in the background as the movie goes on and there is music through out. The type of music that is played is intense and mysterious because the detective is looking for information and interviewing witnesses, there is also non dietetic and non dietetic sound through out the extract. Also good editing on the end just before the detective gets knocked out the screen goes black showing that he gets knocked out.

There are a lot of camera angles used in this extract like over the shoulder shot, low angle shot, mid shot, high angle, pan shot, shot reverse shot. These camera angles are used through out the camera angles.

The settings is at a house it starts of with a guy in a garden going in to a shed, the clothing he is wearing is dark and smart which makes him look like a suspicious person. There is also his girlfriend/friend which is wearing casual clothes and in the kitchen making food.Editing and sound
The editing in this short thriller is very thriller based because of the close up shots on the guys face as he opens the fridge or the box and it is getting a straight shot of his face and how he is reacting and all his emotions can be seen. The sound starts with spooky type of music but you can also hear whats going on outside like the cars going past and there is dog sounds to show that its a natural area and the spooky type of music plays throughout the film. We hear the knife slamming on the cutter viciously showing that there is some type of killing and also at the end we just see red on the knife and the axe.
Camera Angles
The camera angles that we see here are mainly medium shot, few long shots and we see as he opens a the fridge or box we see a extreme close up on his face and also extreme long shot when he is at the end of the garden locking the door.
